Shipping policy

Effective date: 16th October 2026

Arrangements for trade enquiries

UF International supplies business customers in the UK and internationally, subject to availability, compliance checks and agreed terms. Website enquiries are reviewed before an order is accepted. Shipping rates, dispatch dates and country availability require confirmation.

We agree the delivery or collection location, transport method, charges, estimated timing and relevant documentation as part of the quotation and order confirmation.

Tell us about unloading, booking, access and temperature requirements. Additional charges require agreement before being incurred on your behalf.

International deliveries

For international shipments, the agreed order should identify the Incoterms 2020 rule and named place or port. It allocates delivery tasks, costs and risk, but not ownership. Otherwise, the Terms of service govern delivery and risk.

Customs clearance, import permits, local product registration, labelling, taxes, duties, inspection, insurance and unloading are the responsibility of the party allocated those obligations in the contract and applicable law. Each party retains non-transferable legal duties.

Export VAT treatment depends on legal requirements and satisfactory evidence.

Provide complete and accurate consignee, importer and destination information. Confirm any destination restrictions, certifications or minimum remaining shelf life before acceptance.

We will confirm our services and documents. Neither party must act contrary to applicable trade restrictions or safety laws.

Timing and receipt

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed as binding. Port congestion, customs checks, carrier disruption or other events may affect timing.

We will notify you of material delays and discuss mitigation. These statements do not exclude liability or remedies which cannot lawfully be excluded.

Receive or collect goods at the agreed time and location and inspect them promptly. Note visible damage or shortages on delivery paperwork where reasonably possible, retain supporting evidence and notify sales@ufinternational.co.uk within five calendar days.

Notify hidden defects promptly after discovery. The Return and refund policy explains claims and does not automatically bar genuine latent-defect claims.

Follow the agreed storage and temperature requirements from the point risk passes to you.

If a delivery or collection fails because of your breach, reasonable additional storage, insurance or redelivery costs may be recoverable under the sales contract. We will communicate the proposed arrangements.

Disputes, unperformed deliveries and refunds are governed by the Terms of service and applicable law.
